COMPLETE NONSENSE!

This has got to be one of the most rediculous tweaks I have ever seen. It will do absolutely nothing.

In all NT based systems (Windows 2000, XP, Vista, WIndows 7) the system.ini file is all but obsolete. At the top of the file is the comment:

; for 16-bit app support

This is not an idle statement, it means precisely what it says. This file is maintained for support of old 16 bit applications ONLY. Settings for any other purpose will be ignored.

The numbers themselves are pure nonsense. If the system actually tried to read these numbers they would be rejected as invalid and defaults used.

The original author of this tip was either joking or knew nothing of computer systems.
